Terms and Conditions

At Baani-Quilts, all the fabrics, quilts and quilted products, batting, threads we supply goes through strict quality check from multiple hands ensuring accurate measurements, defect-free designs or prints, undamaged and unworn condition.

1. RETURNS 

You can refer to our Return and Shipping Policy to know more about the process for return. 

1. Conditions of Returned Products (as would be evaluated on case-by-case basis as per Return and Shipping Policy): 
2. The tags on the product should be intact.
   2. The product should be unwashed, unused, unstitched and in an undamaged condition.
   3. The item needs to be returned along with the original packaging.
3. CANCELLATION
4. You can cancel an order until it has not been shipped out of our Warehouse which is notified through an email within 24 to 48 hours from placing an order. This includes items purchased on sale also. Any amount paid shall be credited back into the requested bank account.
   2. You can modify the shipping address of your order before we have processed (packed) it, by calling us on our number mentioned on our website under Contact Us.
   3. For payments made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or Wallet you will receive a refund into the source account within 7-10 days from the time of order cancellation directly reversed from our Third Partner payment gateway Service Provider.

1. SHIPPING

1. We ship across India. For international deliveries, please contact us using the details provided in our Contact us section.
2. Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours of being confirmed. All orders are shipped by Bludart (or allied postal services)  depending on the location it is being sent to. You can contact the team using the details on the website in case you have a preferred service provider to complete your delivery. 
3. Shipment tracking details will be mailed to you on the registered email ID.
4. It takes approximately 5-10 business days to deliver your product. Sometimes delivery may take longer due to bad weather, transportation delays, and/or other unforeseen circumstances.

Shipping costs:

• Our shipping costs are calculated based on the distance from our warehouses and the weight/ dimensions of the parcel as any standard postal service would charge. 
• We do not make any commissions as we are directly sharing your parcel to the postal service provider and pay them based on the parcel’s weight/ dimensions and distance.

Return and Refunds Policy:

Our fabrics and batting are all sourced from only the most reliable and top-notch providers from all over the world. The cotton fabrics we sell are 100% cotton which is quality checked by our team before sale. We use world class threads, fabrics, batting while doing our quilting and embroidery. We use industry standard machines and everything is looked into with a keen eye before being cleared for packaging and shipping. Due to such strict measures, our production quality is very high. 

Owing to the nature of the trade, once a fabric or batting piece has been cut out and delivered it cannot be returned to us as it's been cut per your individual requirement and order quantity, which varies from order to order. 

All the quilted products delivered may be subject to a case-by-case evaluation before deciding on whether it can be returned.

About Us

Baani is another name for the Hindu Goddess Saraswati, and literally translates to ‘Earth’ or ‘from the Earth’. We believe that creativity is a gift and we must gather inspiration from what’s around us and where we have come from. Baani aims at creating products that draw inspiration from Indian Prints, design ideas and talents.

Baani is the brainchild of Manisha Iyer, an avid quilter. Her passion for the art of sewing and fabrics have combined together to manifest itself in many of the quilt designs that she creates and loves.

Baani Quilts has now opened up a manufacturing unit in Satara and is now making many quilted and embroidered products all under one roof.

The base idea of Baani Quilts is to merge traditional Indian fabrics and patterns with international quilting techniques thus to make a name for India in the international quilting sphere.

What started off as a personal business venture has now turned into something larger

than life. The small business now employs several local Varye village women who are slowly learning the craft to produce internationally viable products. Baani uses international quilting machines including but not limited to multi-head quilting machine, multi-head embroidery machine as well as Handiquilter custom quilting Long-arm machines.
